The incident unfolded shortly after 10:00 p.m., in Chimeiou Square.
According to what was stated by an eyewitness at Thestivala group of about 20 people entered the campus and moved towards Chemieu square.
There he got involved with people who were already in the area. During the fight, six shots were fired and one person was wounded in the leg.
It is noted that the injured man was found on a bench near the square and is being operated on at the Gennimatas General Hospital of Thessaloniki.
Then the group of 20 people left the campus. Strong police forces rushed to the spot.
