Golden milk or turmeric milk has long been a popular choice for many of us, whether hot or cold.

With its intense color and creamy texture, it is famous for its Ayurvedic medicinal properties, while turmeric has become particularly popular thanks to its numerous benefits, which are due to the ingredient curcumin.

How to make it:

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger (or you can use grated fresh ginger)
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove and serve hot or cold.
