Event for the 40 years of activity of the “Flame”

The people who supported and support the action of Flogas, the Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Diseases will be honored this afternoon at a special event at the Greek World Foundation. The reason for the event is the completion of forty years of continuous activity of the Flame and at the same time the completion of twenty years of hospitality in the hostels of the association.
The President of the Republic will be present at the event Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
As stated in the relevant announcement of the Association, “we will remember the 40 years of unconditional love, we will honor and thank all those who supported our struggle. With commitment and consistency, we will declare our stay at the front line of the fight, as long as cancer threatens the lives of our children.

On this Fire station day, we feel the need to tell you about ourselves. Parents and children we will try to give you an image of our lives and every day. To reflect what cancer means to us, how the child, but also the whole family experiences the disease, how we fight, how we support each other and what needs we have to continue the battle with strength and optimism.
In short, we will try to bring you to us. Let’s feel together. Let’s move forward together. Let’s keep the Flame lit for every child who needs it”!
The event is scheduled for 8 tonight, at Greek World Foundation (Piraeus 254).
