Shield of love from the Diocese of Fthiotidos and the “APOSTOLIS” to children and vulnerable citizens

The Center for Creative Employment of Children completes two years of successful operation “SAINT EPHRAIM” by “APOSTOLIS” and of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotidos in Lamia and already 508 families have benefited from the actions of KDAP, which supports children aged 6-12 by providing a warm embrace of love, modern education and innovative creative employment.

In the joy of the feast of Saint Luke, the Patron Saint of Lamia, today the children of KDAP “AGIOS EPHRAIM” welcomed the Metropolitans: Didymoteicho, Orestia and Soufliu Mr. Damascene, Ilia and Oleni Mr. Athanasios, Gortynos and Megalopolis Mr. Nikiforos, Aetolia and Akarnania Mr. Damaskinos, and the relevant Pastor, Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon, together with the General Director of “APOSTOLIS” Mr. Konstantinos Dimtsa.

Since the morning Holy Metropolis of Fthiotidos in collaboration with “APOSTOLI” implemented social welfare actions throughout Fthiotida offering 35,776 ready meals supporting 559 families of disabled people, cancer patients, kidney patients, people with disabilities and other difficulties.

At the same time, His Eminence and Mr. Dimtsas visited the Kindergarten and Primary School of Loutra Ypatis and along with their heartfelt wishes, distributed school bags and other gifts to the children.

His Eminence Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon features noted:

“We are preparing for the happiest celebration of our region, the feast of our Patron Saint Luke the Evangelist, and we cannot wear our holiday clothes, carry our holiday clothes and be happy, if we do not share joy and smiles with people who are in need, to our fellow citizens, who are thorough and want our support, but at the same time if we don’t get close to the children, who are the source of joy. At the same time, we are celebrating the birthday of the KDAP “AGIOS EPHRAIM”, which in two years has performed a miracle of love in 508 families in our area and hundreds of children, and we are moving forward energetically for the future”.

The General Manager of “APOSTOLIS” Mr. Konstantinos Dimtsas in a statement he characteristically noted: “In a difficult economic situation, where Greek households are again starting to suffocate from debt and debts, the Church is here again. “APOSTOLI” and the Holy Diocese of Fthiotidos, with an organized plan, practically support the people in need, with many supporters such as the businessman and Mr. Spyros Theodoropoulos and the “MASOUTIS” Group.
