Colonos: The possible involvement of another man in the case is being examined

The involvement of another man in the case of the rape and pimping of the 12-year-old girl in Kolonos is being investigated by the police officers of the Juvenile Protection Service.

The man voluntarily presented himself on Monday afternoon, at the headquarters of the service in GADA and declared that he is a user of an online dating application. He claimed, however, that he does not have any contact with a minor. In a statement, EL.AS. made it known that the man was examined under oath and then left, while the possibility of his participation in the case is being considered.

The child’s 37-year-old mother was remanded in custody

The 37-year-old mother of the 12-year-old girl from Kolonos was remanded in custody yesterday, after her lengthy statement, as the Investigator and Prosecutor decided that she was not uninvolved in what the child was experiencing. The 37-year-old accused of extraditing her minor daughter, according to her defense, denied the charges.
The same was claimed by her two older children, a boy and a girl, who were examined as witnesses. However, according to information, both the remittances found in the mother’s account, from people who came into contact with the 12-year-old, as well as the child’s own messages, were catalysts for her pre-trial detention, with the crime of aggravated pimping.

In the meantime, the three of those arrested for the case were given a deadline to apologize on Wednesday by the investigator. The three men face charges of paid sexual intercourse with a minor. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
