Kosmocar – Audi presents the Audi Connect Plug & Play application with which the smartphone of the owner of an Audi is connected to his car, quickly and easily turning it into a “connected vehicle”.

The DataPlug smart device in combination with the Audi Connect Plug & Play app allows cars from 2008 to 2019 to become “connected cars” with a few simple steps on the smartphone.

The Audi Connect Plug & Play app, available on both iOS and Android, connects the driver’s smartphone via Bluetooth to the Audi DataPlug, turning the vehicle into a “connected car” in no time.

With the Audi Connect Plug & Play app, drivers can access information about their vehicle at any time, such as mileage, vehicle chassis number and fuel level, as well as mileage and days remaining until the next appointment for service.

The application also offers a series of useful information and services such as the direct call of Roadside Assistance or
Customer Service, the last parking spot of the car, road behavior and economical driving advisor, the list of Authorized Service Audi Partners Network in Greece, but also driving challenge games and routes for the user’s entertainment.

Also, at this critical juncture for fuel costs, the user of the Audi Connect Plug & Play app can have a complete overview of refueling procedures and monthly fuel costs. Every time the Audi DataPlug records a process
refueling, the app user receives a notification on their smartphone that details of the refueling have been captured. Through this function the driver can see not only the exact cost of fuel on each route, but also the specific points of a route where he could save fuel if he followed a different driving style.
