Autohellas and Samelet agreed with Stellantis on the acquisition of its subsidiary in Greece

The Autohellas and Samelet Groups are establishing a joint company to become the partner of Stellantis in the Greek market that will undertake the import and distribution of the Abarth, Alfa Romeo Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep brands. The completion of this planned acquisition is subject to the approval of the Competition Commission.

The transaction follows the merger of car makers PSA and FCA – last year – which created Stellantis, one of the world’s largest carmakers with manufacturing operations in 30 countries and a commercial presence in 130 markets worldwide.

After the completion of the planned transaction, the joint company of the Autohellas & Samelet groups will be responsible for the import and distribution of a total of 5 Brands of Stellantis, acquiring the subsidiary of FCA Italy SpA in Greece, until now their importer and distributor. FCA Greece SA staff contracts will not be affected by the completion of this transaction.

The Autohellas and Samelet Groups will rely on their extensive know-how, experience, resources and presence in the automotive and mobility services market to ensure the continuation of high-quality customer service, distribute all spare parts for these Brands as well as develop successfully the overall business activity in the country.

Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep are iconic brands that will complement the portfolio of Autohellas and Samelet. Leveraging the many new and advanced developments in the Stellantis Group’s powertrains, all these Brands in the newly acquired portfolio will benefit from significant investments in the latest generation technology and exciting new models that will be launched very soon to realize the long-term strategic plan of the Dare Forward 2030 Group presented in March. Starting with five new models launched in 2022, each Brand has a clearly defined and accelerated strategy aimed at offering our customers a complete range of models that meet their current and future needs.
