The foreign minister was taken safely to a shelter in the Ukrainian capital.

Adventure for the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, as while he was at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet with his counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, the warning sirens sounded in Kyiv.

According to what was reported by SKAI’s envoy to Ukraine, Elli Kasoli, the foreign minister was safely taken to a shelter in the Ukrainian capital.

Mr. Dendias is visiting Kyiv today, where he is expected to have meetings with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba and the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky.

This visit is the foreign minister’s third visit to Ukraine after the Russian invasion, as he has already been twice to Odessa, a city inextricably linked to Hellenism.

In the context of his contacts, the foreign minister is expected to repeat the message that Greece is in favor of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states, and that it condemns revisionism, wherever and however it comes from, the announcement states.

He is also expected to refer to the initiatives undertaken by Greece to support the government and people of Ukraine, both in a bilateral and multilateral context.
