Salo has caused the unthinkable incident of abduction and abuse of a high school principal in Aiginio, Pieria, by a group of coronavirus deniers. The so-called “guardians of the constitution” set up a cartel on the school principal, chased him, handcuffed him and forcibly put him in a car leading him to the police station, where the unfortunate man in shock explained to the police exactly what had happened. Eventually the handcuffs changed hands, with police making 11 arrests.

According to their posts on the internet, the attack had been planned for days and they had even sent it out of court, citing 120 Article 120 of the constitution. Until a few days ago, the same group of people called parents and teachers online to gather outside the school, while it also sent a letter to the teachers, informing them that they would order the school. A call they made with code names and passwords via Facebook, while after today’s unthinkable abduction at the high school of Aigini, they report:

The mayor of Kolindros, Anastasios Manolas, found the high school principal in the health center of the area with bruises on his hands and in a state of shock.

As the director of secondary education in Pieria, Metaxia Tsiargali, pointed out, their goal was the school principals: “they consider that the constitution is being violated because the provisions for the coronavirus are applied, they characterize them as traitors, accusers”.

The headmaster and the high school principal had contacted the authorities, but nothing was done, while no one expected that the issue would reach this absurdity. The attack on the high school principal seems to have been premeditated, with some talking about an ambush.

As a school teacher told SKAI, “these strange guys came. And outside the school they beat his principal, handcuffed him and kidnapped him. “They put him in their car and took him to the police station as a criminal.” For a month now, the school has been under attack by the specific people, with the police being indifferent, the teacher complains.

“They have come again, they have bothered us other times. A complaint has been made, but the authorities are not doing anything. We mean the police authorities… They do nothing… What should we do? ” “A lawsuit has been filed against them,” he said.

They refused to undergo a COVID test

Against the 11, two women and nine men who were arrested, a case was filed for a series of offenses between them and the crime of kidnapping. They were taken to the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Katerini. Among the 9 men and 2 women, members of the self-proclaimed group “Guardians of the Constitution”, is a retired police officer, a dance teacher, freelancers, farmers and the unemployed. Only three of them have children who attend the High School of Aigini.

A case was filed against them for joint kidnapping, violence against employees, disruption of the Service, violation of measures for disease prevention, threat, defamation, simple bodily harm and violation of personal data legislation.

In view of their transfer to the Courts of Katerini, the vast majority of them refused to undergo the prescribed coronavirus test and for this reason a separate case was formed.
