Six arrests for damage to an ISAP station after a football match – Four minors among them

In particular, according to EL.AS, after the end of the football match that was held at the stadium “OPAP ARENA Hagia Sophia” in New Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon (20/10), a large number of fans entered the H.S.A.P. station. “Excess” and a group of people lit flares and caused damage to a fire hydrant. They then followed a route in a train to Piraeus, during which they caused damage to the carriages of the train, specifically breaking door and window panes and lighting covers. The above damages resulted in the evacuation of the train at “Omonoia” station.

Those arrested, with the file filed by the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues of the Attica Security Directorate, were taken to the Athens District Attorney.
