Two hundred thousand vouchers from the “Tourism for All” program are still available, and can be used during the winter months as well, the Minister of Tourism pointed out to SKAI 100.3 Vassilis Kikilias.

The figures for Samos Pass and Evia Pass are impressive, the Minister of Tourism emphasized, underlining that there was a very great response.

At the same time, he pointed out that a very large increase was also recorded in the critical parameter of spending on tourism, noting that this is also reflected in the restaurants.

It is noted that the “Tourism for All 2022” Program aims to strengthen the demand for domestic tourism through subsidizing beneficiaries of accommodation services for vacations within the Territory.

The Program is the upgraded digital version of the Program of the same name from previous years, as for the first time it is foreseen:

  • increased subsidy of €150 per beneficiary (from €120 last year),
  • special provision for a higher subsidy of €200 for PWDs with a disability of more than 67%,
  • contactless payment and redemption of the e-voucher at any accommodation provider (hotels, accommodation, etc.) and at any destination in the country, without geographical restrictions
  • immediate reimbursement of providers, which puts an end to waiting and time-consuming bureaucratic procedures
  • redemption of the e-voucher once or in installments until June 2023, in order to support the choice of holidays outside the peak tourist season.
