The Ministry of Development and Investments informed with a relevant notice the companies active in the production, import, trading, wholesale and retail sale, brokerage, handling, distribution and storage of solid fuels and wood intended for burning that the under data 100318/18-10 was issued -2022 decision of the Minister of Development and Investments entitled “Declaration of stocks of solid fuels intended for space heating” (B’ 5437), which aims on the one hand to supervise the market in terms of the adequacy of the above products and on the other hand to monitor stocks in combination with their selling price, in order to avoid the phenomena of profiteering and unfair commercial practices.
The obligation to declare stocks concerns only Mrall kinds of firewood, pellets, briquettes and kindling (dadi).
The electronic declaration platform is activated from today, Monday 24/10/2022, and access for the submission of declarations by debtors is made either directly via the link https://supplies.businessportal.gr or via the central website of the Ministry of Development and Investments (http://www.mindev.gov.gr)in which they can select the link: “Declaration of Stocks of Wood and Solid Fuels”.

The ministry calls on those liable to respond consistently and responsibly to their obligations, as any finding of violation arising from an audit by the competent bodies, entails the imposition of high fines as well as the confiscation of the quantities of wood for which no declaration was submitted.
