The family tragedy in Imathia is shocking, where a driver struck and killed a 15-year-old girl, seriously injuring her mother and sister. The incident took place on Friday evening in the village of Palaiochora, near Veria, where the unconscious driver of a car, moving at a dizzying speed, swept away the 37-year-old woman, together with her daughters, aged 11 and 15 respectively, while they were walking in Main street.
The 15-year-old was killed instantly while the 37-year-old mother is in a critical condition in the hospital, while the 11-year-old was transferred to the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki with her health status being stable and it is estimated that she has escaped the danger.
The driver disappeared and has yet to be found.
