The 11 detainees accused of handcuffing and kidnapping a high school principal were taken to the prosecutor.
Until Monday, they are expected to get a deadline to apologize and until then they will be held.
They were brought to the courts of Katerini on Saturday morning, while their supporters were also gathered from outside.
According to them, not all of them are members of the “Guardians of the Constitution”, but only two of them. The rest are parents, who have asked for the help of guardians for the problems they face at school, claiming that their children are being tortured.
As their lawyer, Vassilis Noulezas, told SKAI, they will ask for a deadline for Tuesday, for their apology.
He also stated that he disagrees with any form of violence and that they may misinterpret the constitution. He also stressed that he does not agree with their views, however it is too early to condemn them.
Also, Vassilis Markis, Honorary President of the Union of Prosecutors, said characteristically:
“In a word, I could describe all that they invoke as jokes. I understood this logic as a bad joke. There is the legal arsenal. “The penal code has provisions that can deal with such an incident before it becomes a phenomenon.”
