Attack with caustic liquid in Heraklion: The 38-year-old woman surrendered to the police

After three days of remaining elusive, the 38-year-old woman who is accused of throwing a caustic liquid on her estranged husband, in the early hours of last Saturday, appeared before the authorities.

According to information from cretapost, the 38-year-old woman passed the threshold of the Heraklion Police Station a few minutes ago, accompanied by her defense attorney, criminologist Mr. Apostolos Lytras.

The 38-year-old, as she has already stated, has confessed her act saying that “I blurted out and threw the bottle with the caustic liquid” because she reported that she was the victim of abusive behavior by both the 36-year-old and his brother.

In fact, she is expected to testify to the authorities that she receives threats to her life while she will hand over recorded conversations and request their protection.

However, it makes an impression that her father, with his statements, stands by the side of her estranged husband and victim of the 36-year-old saying that “my daughter is lying, she was not abused by her husband” while at the same time he made a public appeal to his daughter of being delivered.

He denies sending “pink” photos to the victim’s brother

Earlier, the family of the 36-year-old spoke of “pink” photos of the girl to the victim’s brother. In fact, as they claim, she did not hesitate to invite him to a hotel in Heraklion, considering that she did not choose this particular man by chance, as she considered him to be responsible for her separation from the 36-year-old. And as he estimates, it is possible that the 38-year-old did this to meet him and attack him.

At the same time, the 38-year-old denies that such a thing ever happened.
