The next hearing was set for Thursday, November 10 at the Court of Appeals, the day when the process of Civil Action statements from the victims of the fire will continue
The first 50 victims of the deadly fire that consumed Mati, through their lawyers, declared a representation in support of the charge (Civil Action) before the Three-member Misdemeanor Court that will try the 21 defendants for the tragedy that unfolded in Eastern Attica, on the afternoon of July 23 2018.
During today’s second hearing, the court met in a room in Evelpidon, slightly larger than the one available at the start of the trial last week, while the president announced that the next sessions will now be held in the Court of Appeal’s Ceremonial Room, which was also available for this case, as well as the Golden Dawn trial, which will now be held alternately.
Thus, the next trial was set for Thursday, November 10 at the Court of Appeal, a day when the process of the Civil Action statements by the victims of the fire, which left behind more than 100 dead and dozens of injured, will continue.
And today, many victims and relatives of victims of the disastrous fire were in court.
