Gov.gr: Responsible Installer Declaration now also digitally – What is the process?

by

The Responsible Installer Declaration is necessary for the electrification of every home or business

The ability to digitally consider the Responsible Installer Statement (YDE), which is necessary for the electrification of every home or business, they now have electrical installers and their professional associations, to serve the citizens. This is the document that certifies that every electrical installation of a property is suitable and safe for use.

The service is available on gov.gr in the “Business Activity” section and the “Licensing and Compliance” subsection. According to the Joint Decision of the Ministers of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, Environment and Energy Kostas Skrekas and State and Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, the YDE is signed electronically through gov.gr:

  • the electrical installer who prepares the responsible declaration
  • the representative of the relevant professional association and
  • optionally the user of the electrical installation

In particular, the procedure followed is as follows:

1. The electrician authenticates to the service either through their personal Taxisnet access codes, or through their personal web banking codes and selects “New application”.
2. The electrician installer uploads the YDE in pdf format (a single file that will include both the responsible declaration and the accompanying documentation) and digitally signs it.
3. Each subsequent signatory is authenticated on the platform and locates and digitally signs the document to be signed in the “Pending” field.
4. When the procedure is completed by all parties, the document appears digitally signed in the digital box of each signatory (my.gov.gr).
5. The final signed statement is then sent to the corresponding digital mailbox of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDDIE).

The design and development of the service was done by the General Secretariat of Digital Governance and Process Simplification, DEDDIE SA and the National Technology and Research Infrastructure Network (EDYTE SA – GRNET), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
