Burger Fest has 200 hamburgers with exclusive snacks until the end of the month in SP

The cultural program in the capital of São Paulo remains active, even with the chill that hits the city in the middle of November.

On the gastronomic side, Burger Fest should please fans of different sandwiches. The traditional event, held ten years ago, brings together around 200 hamburgers in the capital and in Greater São Paulo with exclusive snacks, served only until the end of this month.

The Boom Trap party is the tip for those who spend the week waiting for Friday to arrive. Artists such as the Angolan IAMDDB, MC Dricka and Vulgo FK perform at Canindé, in the central region of São Paulo.

Italian cinema is also featured in theaters and streaming, with a festival just for it. In addition to novelties, such as the film chosen to represent the country at the Oscars, “Nostalgia”, classics such as “Rome, Open City” will be shown.

Literary Ballad

The 17th edition of Balada Literária arrives in São Paulo and returns to being in person, after two online editions because of the pandemic. The honoree of the time is samba. The festival created by Marcelino Freire passes through other cities, such as Teresina and Salvador, and arrives in the capital of São Paulo on Thursday (10), with the samba circle “Mulheres que Fazem a Roda Girar”, hosted by Fabiana Cozza. The program continues until the 15th with the participation of writers Morgana Kretzmann, Flávio Ilha, in addition to Ferréz and Tom Farias, columnist for Sheet.

Italian Film Festival

The exhibition brings together 33 films produced in Italy, among classics and never before seen in Brazil. The main highlight of the program is “Nostalgia”, a feature by Mario Martone shown at Cannes and chosen to represent the Italian country at the Oscars. Others are “Siccità”, by Paolo Virzì, awarded in Venice, and “Yaya and Lennie”, shown at the Locarno and Annecy festivals. A retrospective features features such as “Rome, Open City”, “Bread, Love and Fantasy”, and “A Moça com a Valise”. There are also online sessions, available on the Fine Arts a la Carte stream.

Burger Fest

Dedicated to hamburgers, the gastronomic festival celebrates ten years bringing together more than 400 locations across the country — 200 of them only in São Paulo and Greater São Paulo. Until November 30, houses like Z Deli, Matilda, Meats, Buzina Burger, Between Buns and Cão Veio participate with sandwiches created exclusively for the event.

The English singer of Angolan origin IAMDDB, who had to cancel her show in Brazil in October, now performs at the Boom Trap party. A darling of the Brazilian public, she shows songs like “Shade” and “Urban Jazz” and is accompanied in the party’s lineup by shows by MC Dricka and Vulgo FK, in addition to sets by DJs like Sophia and Cinara.

The Disease of the Oother

With its premiere scheduled for this Friday (11), the show discusses the prejudices suffered by people infected with the AIDS virus. With a mixture of studies and personal experience, the author and performer of the scene plays a series of games with the audience while images are projected both in the theater and in his costumes.
