Attempted rape in Nice: How the police describe the attack on the 20-year-old

According to the police, the 28-year-old followed the girl while she was going to her house and stopped her with the intention of raping her. The patient tried to prevent him by calling for help and then the 28-year-old attacked her with punches in the head, injuring her. However, due to an external factor he did not complete his criminal act and ran away.

After careful searches, they managed to locate a suspect, who was taken to the T.A. Nice – St. I. Rentis and was identified as the perpetrator of the above crimes while being investigated by the Piraeus Security Sub-Directorate in collaboration with the T.A. Nice – St. I. Rentis, his participation in any other cases of similar offenses against women.

The arrested person was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Piraeus with the case filed against him by the TA. Nice – St. I. Renti.

According to police sources, the 28-year-old man had bruises on his face when he was arrested by the 20-year-old girl, while the zipper of his pants was open. At the same time, the perpetrator allegedly attacked six more women in the wider area of ​​Piraeus.

A 28-year-old foreigner accused of attempted rape and bodily harm was arrested in the early hours of 6-11-2022 in Nice by police officers of the Immediate Action (DI.AS. Team).

In particular, in the early morning hours of 6-11-2022, the 28-year-old followed a woman as she was going to her house and stopped her with the intention of raping her. The patient tried to prevent him by calling for help and then the 28-year-old attacked her with punches in the head, injuring her.
