Disciplinary proceedings for his Nazi salutes in the courtroom where the Golden Dawn case is being tried, were brought against the lawyer Constantinos Pleuris, by the president of the primary disciplinary board of the Athens Bar Association (DSA), Zisis Konstantinou.
Mr. Plevris is the advocate of Yiannis Lagos.
The case will be assigned to one of the disciplinary councils of the DSA, which, after calling Constantinos Pleuris for an explanation, will decide whether a disciplinary penalty will be imposed against him or not.
It is recalled that in a resolution of the board of directors of the DSA, it was pointed out that “the Nazi salute is completely incompatible with the principles, values, traditions and ethics of the legal profession” and for this reason, “the DSA has throughout time decorated this type of behavior , which insult the millions of victims of Nazism, awaken chilling memories from the darkest pages of human history, impugn the lawyer’s ethos and oppose the constitutional democratic order”.
