Ministry of Education: As of today, applications for exceptional student transfers

Requests “for exceptional transfer/transfer, for particularly serious and documented exceptional cases”

From today, Tuesday, November 8, until next Tuesday, November 15, applications will be submitted “for the grant of exceptional transfer/movement, for particularly serious and documented exceptional cases”.

The announcement of the Ministry of Education:

The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs informs the interested parties that applications for exceptional transfer/transfer, for particularly serious and documented exceptional cases, in accordance with the provisions of article 79 of Law 4692/2020 (Government Gazette 111 A) and the number 148236/Z1/30-10-2020 (Β΄ 4806) of ministerial decision, are submitted from Tuesday, November 8, 2022 until Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

Applications with the supporting documents documenting the cited reasons for the grant of transfer/transfer as an exception, are submitted by students exclusively electronically to the special application https://transfer.it.minedu.gov.gr (with the exception of transfers) or through corresponding hyperlink on the central website of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, using the credentials (username and password) assigned to them to connect to Academic Services, which use the Identification and Authorization Infrastructure of EDYTE (eg Academic Identity, Eudoxos, etc.).

In the special application for exceptional transfers, the instructions for use are available regarding the process of submitting the electronic application and the relevant supporting documents documenting the particularly serious and exceptional cases.

Who does the exceptional transfer concern?

Exceptionally, transfer can be made for:

a) serious illnesses of students or members of the student’s family, which are not included in the appendix under no. Φ.151/17897/Β6/2014 (Β΄ 358) joint ministerial decision, diseases, as amended or replaced from time to time, and which are established by the institutions and through a procedure referred to in the aforementioned joint ministerial decision,

b) death of a relative of the first degree by blood in a direct line or second degree by blood in a lateral line, which occurred within one year prior to the submission of the application for granting an exception of transfer,

c) pregnant students after a certificate from the attending physician and director of a gynecological or obstetric clinic or department of a public nursing institution, and if they are already studying to obtain a first degree, and

d) students who have suffered physical or mental damage caused by crimes against physical integrity or sexual freedom or personal freedom, which is documented based on the findings of medical science.
