The management of the OASTH appealed to the Court asking for the strike to be declared illegal
The workers at OASTH will take part in the 24-hour strike that GESEE has declared for tomorrow Wednesday.
It is noted that the lines on which the transport project is carried out with assignment to KTEL, will operate normally.
In the meantime, the management of the OASTH appealed to the Court of Justice requesting that the strike be declared illegal because:
– The legal obligation to inform the Organization four days in advance has not been complied with
– In violation of the law, the necessary security personnel and minimum guaranteed service have not been appointed. In particular, the Union has staff available to drive only 50 buses, instead of 133 provided by the Mediation and Arbitration Organization (OMED) arbitration decision.
A hearing has been set for the lawsuit today, Tuesday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m.
The management of the OASTH has requested that every possibility be exhausted so that any decision is issued before the start of the strike, for timely information and to avoid inconvenience to the passenger public, as well as the workers.
