The President of the United States, Joe Biden, was caught dozing during the opening ceremony of the 26th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP26), in Glasgow (Scotland), this Monday (1).
Sitting in the audience, Biden was filmed with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. He only opens his eyes when an aide approaches.
Then he rubs his eyes and applauds along with the audience at the end of one of the speeches.
Upon disembarking in Glasgow, Biden had already been photographed with the mask hanging from his ear, in disregard of the protocol imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
About 100 world leaders spoke at the opening of the Climate Conference.
