“I did an unacceptable act”: The first statement of Stathis Panagiotopoulos after the complaints

Stathis Panagiotopoulos made his first statement, after the allegations against him for the allegations of revenge porn, through the ANT1 show.

As he states in his written statement:

“I did an unacceptable act, against a man who had not harmed me. I did this under the influence of bad times in my life, with no intention of hurting, offending or harming anyone. It was a huge recklessness, the worst I have ever done and I face the consequences. I regretted it bitterly and sincerely, in fact not a day goes by that I do not regret it. I apologized to the person in question and remedied in practice without considering that my remorse nullified the invalidity of my act. Now I apologize publicly. I also apologize to my friends-colleagues on the show I am presenting, who had no idea about my attack, and put them in a very difficult position. From now on I abstain from the show wanting to relieve them of this difficult position. “I have sincerely repented, and I can only apologize once again from the bottom of my heart to the person I offended.”
