Thessaloniki: a 33-year-old man had turned a room of his house into a hydroponic cannabis laboratory

Complete system hydroponic cultivation of cannabis had installed in a ground floor apartment in the area of ​​Pefki in Thessaloniki, a 33-year-old man.

The perpetrator was arrested by police officers of the Immediate Intervention Department of the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.

As stated in the EL.AS announcement, yesterday, in the context of investigating a complaint, police officers of the aforementioned service with the assistance of their colleagues from the Crimes Against Property and Crime Prevention – Suppression Departments of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, spotted the 33-year-old man leaving the apartment, inside which it was found that there was a specially designed room where cannabis seedlings were grown.

As part of the investigation, the following were found and seized:

• Complete equipment for hydroponic cultivation of hemp seedlings consisting of ventilation, lighting and fertilization systems,
• (47) hemp seedlings, which were uprooted,
• Small amount of cannabis,
• A grater used for cannabis,
• Knife type “machete”,
• Amount of money related to drug trafficking and
• Mobile phone he used for his meetings
