Hieronymus for the “Ark of the World”: The Archdiocese has nothing to do with the NGO – I imposed a ban on pilgrimages to Fr. Antonios

“Both we in the Church and the entire Greek society are shocked to the highest degree,” says the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece

His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and all Greece Mr. Ieronymos made the following statement about her case “Ark of the World”.

“Yesterday afternoon I ordered normal investigations to be carried out, following named complaints before the competent authorities, at the expense of her clergy of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens Fr. Antonio Papanikolaouon whom I imposed, by my decision, the prohibition of sacrificial acts until the trial of the case.

The Holy Archdiocese of Athens had or has no relationship with M.K.O. “Ark of the World”, which does not belong to it. The only person responsible for its administration, management and entire operation is the aforementioned cleric, who never agreed to set up the structures of the M.K.O. under the supervision of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens or to cooperate with its staff members in the fields of social welfare and solidarity in any way.

Both we in the Church and the entire Greek society are shocked to the highest degree. In any case, however, the Church is not going to tolerate, much less cover up, shameful and abominable behaviors and actions, which stain the sacred robe. The sacred cassock, watered with the blood of Saints and Heroes, cannot be brought and worn by those who use it recklessly and obscenely, without fear of God and men, to cover their iniquities and to commit crimes that stigmatize indelibly and forever the lives and souls of innocent children.

The words love, affection and care can neither be mental fireworks, nor communication tools to manipulate people, especially minors, and to satisfy all kinds of perversions, which give birth to sick and rotten brains. In the name of protecting children, their crucifixion cannot take place, especially by “clergymen” who exploit and abuse them in every way, having, by the way, convinced the whole of Greece of their “pure” intentions. The human mind honestly can’t do something like that…

As a Church, we are at the disposal of the authorities, in order to contribute, in any way, to the complete clarification of this nightmarish case. As long as the truth of the accusations attributed to this particular cleric is proven, the Church and I personally will render the earthly ecclesiastical justice to the absolute extent.”
