Antonis Mandalos was born on May 26, 1962 in Aliarto, Boeotia. He took his first football steps with the team of Panaliartos until he came to Volos in 1980. He wore the Olympiakos shirt for 18 consecutive years and was the player with the most appearances in the history of the “red and whites”.

In particular, he has 532 appearances in A’, B’ and C’ national teams along with his participation in the Greek Cup since the establishment of “Olympic Volos”. However, if you look at the statistics, he is among the Greek footballers who have made more than 500 appearances throughout the country.

He had worked for a total of seven seasons at Olympiakos Volos, as an assistant coach and head coach from 1996 to 2002, while he has also been a coach at Asteras Rizomylou from 2002 to 2005, in the teams of Rigas Feraios and Theseos Agrias since 2006 until 2010. From 2010 to 2012 he was a coach in the k19 of Olympiakos Volos in the A’ and B’ national teams, from 2012 to 2015 a coach in local teams.
