Piles of offenses are included in the criminal prosecution brought against the 27-year-old who is alleged to be a member of the “Thousands of Night Suns” organization.
The organization is responsible for 6 attacks from July 2020 to July 2022: at the Real group offices, at three banks, at the ND offices in Pefki and at a car dealership.
The 27-year-old was picked up by the police during yesterday’s operation in the Refugee Center of L. Alexandra and according to ELAS, “he was identified as a leading member of the criminal organization”.
“The leading member was identified as the natural perpetrator of the arson of media offices in Maroussi by placing and activating an improvised incendiary explosive device in the building it is housed in,” the police press release states.
The 27-year-old, who was given a deadline to apologize to the investigator on Friday, is accused of:
-Criminal organization
-Sequential and joint explosion, which could result in danger to humans
-Intentional arson with danger to persons and things consecutively and jointly, and in the degree of misdemeanor and felony
-Manufacturing and possessing explosive and incendiary materials
– Distinguished case of damage to foreign property of great value
– Illegal possession of weapons
– Refusal to submit to dactyloscopic examination.
