The offense he faces, according to current legislation, is punishable as a felony.
The accused on his part told the investigator that he had no intention and intent to harm anyone. He admitted that he was drunk and emphasized that this might have made him provocative and assertive.
According to what was recorded by the Police who were called to handle the incident, the defendant started to get annoyed at the slightest thing and insult the patrons. Despite pleas from the young bar owner to stop, he continued to disturb the group, until he left the bar, only to return with a fake gun, continuing the episode.
The owner tried to reason with him, but he didn’t understand anything. So he left the store again and returned with a second weapon, a non-functional rifle.
Finally, the Police were notified and the 54-year-old man was found handcuffed at the Department and yesterday at the investigator.
