Criminal prosecution for exposing a minor to danger was brought against the father, who was arrested, after the fire that broke out on Sunday night (11/27) in the family’s apartment in Colonos.
At that time, the father and his three children were inside the house.

Firefighters, police officers, and a neighbor massaged the child until the ambulance came and took him to the hospital.
The fire, according to the first findings of the fire department, started in the kitchen and the apartment was filled with smoke. The three minor children and their father were trapped in the house.
Firefighters extricated the family of four. The 5-year-old’s siblings were taken to the Children’s Hospital and after being given first aid they were discharged.
The 45-year-old father was arrested by the police on Monday morning (28/11).
