Step-by-step how the process will proceed – ASEP contestants must state this in their online application
Instructions to candidates for the Panhellenic written competition were issued by ASEPin view of tomorrow’s start of submitting applications for participation.
In the invitation/announcement (2C/2022) the candidates in their electronic application state the codes of the positions, branches/specialties, qualifications as well as any required additional qualifications.
A. TITLES OF STUDY
University and Technological Education Degrees must be obtained by the deadline for submission of online applications. The date of completion of the studies, i.e. success in the prescribed courses, is considered as the time of acquisition of the said titles.
If the degree has been obtained abroad, the following is required: A recognition act from DIKATSA, or ITE for the equivalence or equivalence and correspondence of the degree or a certificate of recognition from the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Degrees and Information (DOATAP) regarding equivalence or equivalence and correspondence. In the event that the act or recognition certificate does not indicate the academic subject, a certificate from the Educational Institution that granted the title is required, which specifies the academic subject, as well as an official translation thereof.
In the specific procedure where the competition is carried out in two stages, the certificates of recognition of the candidates’ basic educational qualifications acquired abroad, provided that it is not necessary to refer their holders to supplementary examinations, may have been issued at a time subsequent to the end date of the deadline for submitting the application for participation (A’ stage). In particular, the candidates in question must, on the one hand, when submitting their participation application, have noted in the appropriate fields that they hold the qualifications required by the invitation/announcement and, on the other hand, if and when they are invited by ASEP to the second stage of the process , to submit together with the other supporting documents: a) the degree to be recognized in a legally certified photocopy and an official translation thereof, b) a photocopy of the recorded or registered corresponding application for recognition submitted to the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Degrees and Information (DOATAP) or Autoteles Department for the Implementation of European Legislation of the Ministry of Education and Religion (ATEEN) within the deadline for submitting the application for participation in the 1st stage and c) the relevant certificate of recognition of the title acquired abroad, which they must also register in the corresponding tabs of the Registry.
In any case, the certificates of recognition of the study titles acquired abroad must have been issued by the competent body by the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the second stage.
Candidates who submit decisions recognizing professional qualifications or professional equivalence of titles of corresponding categories of education granted by:
i) The Independent Department for the Implementation of European Legislation (ATEEN) of the d.d. 38/2010 “Adaptation of Greek legislation to Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 7, 2005, regarding the recognition of professional qualifications” as amended and in force.
ii) the Council for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (SAEP) of article 55 of the p.d. 38/2010 “Adaptation of Greek legislation to Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 7, 2005, regarding the recognition of professional qualifications” as amended and in force, or
iii) the Council for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (SAEP) of article 55 of the p.d. 38/2010 for the recognition of professional equivalence, based on par. 2 of article 1 of the p.d. 38/2010, as applicable each time, or
iv) the Council for the Recognition of Professional Equivalence of Higher Education Qualifications (SAEITTE) of article 10 of the p.d. 165/2000 “Adaptation of Greek Legislation with a general system of recognition of higher education diplomas certifying professional education of a minimum duration of three years, in accordance with Directive 89/48/EEC of the Council of the European Communities”, or
v) the Council for the Professional Recognition of Education and Training Qualifications (SEATEK) of article 14 of the p.d. 231/1998 “Second general system for the recognition of vocational training, which complements directive 89/48/EEC, in accordance with directives 92/51/EEC of the Council of the European Communities, 94/38/EC and 95/43/EC of Commission of the European Communities”.
vi) Holders of diplomas, certificates and other titles obtained in member countries of the European Union, who have been granted, based on the system of automatic recognition of diplomas, a license to practice a profession by the relevant national authorities, as the case may be, in accordance with presidential decrees 40/1986 (A΄14), 84/1986, (A΄31), 97/1986 (A΄35), 98/1986, (A΄ 35), 53/2004 (A΄43), 40/2006 (A΄ 43) and the u.a. A4/5226/1987 (B΄613).
B. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PROFESSIONAL LICENSES OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL LICENSES, CERTIFICATES – CERTIFICATES).
Professional licenses or registration certificates-certificates must be valid both at the time of submission of the online application and the expiry of the submission deadline, as well as at the time of appointment.
C. In this procedure supporting documents are submitted only by people with a lack of physical physical skills in order to be examined in a special way.
In any case, candidates must consult the Official Gazette of the call/announcement before submitting their online application.
It is pointed out that only the successful candidates of the first stage for the branches/specialties of UNIVERSITY and TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION may participate, in the second stage, in announcements to fill positions with a written competition of the corresponding branches/specialties of UNIVERSITY and TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION in bodies of par.1 of article 2 of Law 4765/2021, as long as they possess at that time and any required additional qualifications (indicative: computer knowledge, knowledge of a foreign language, experience) as well as VET positions, provided that they possess the specialization required for each subject according to the relevant provisions.
