‘When I saw myself without my grandson, I lived the mourning,’ says Marília Mendonça’s mother at Fantástico

Ruth Moreira, mother of Marília Mendonça (1995-2021), cried in an interview with Fantástico on Sunday (13). She has just losing her grandson of her grandson, Leo, to Murilo Huff, the boy’s father. Murilo refused to record an interview to the Sunday.

Father and grandmother shared the boy’s guard since Marilia’s death in 2021. The relationship between them, however, deteriorated until it culminated in the unilateral request for Murilo, granted by the Goiás court on July 2.

Asked about the origin of the problems between her and the singer, Ruth kept mystery and merely said: ” [houve nenhum problema]. It was okay until he asked for the guard. “

Ruth’s lawyer, Robson Cunha, quoted a disagreement in a Mother’s Day presentation at the boy’s school. Ruth and Murilo would have conflicted after being unintentionally at the event.

Murilo Huff declined to record an interview to Fantástico and sent a statement via the press office. In the note, he says he tried a friendly deal with Ruth before the process and will stay silent to respect the secret of justice.

Insurance and inheritance

Last Thursday (11), the daughter of the driver killed in the accident, Vitória Drumond, accused Ruth of receiving, alone, 50% of the value of insurance, about $ 5.5 million. The disaster left five dead: the singer, the pilot, the co -pilot, a producer and an advisor, who was Uncle of Marilia, Ruth’s brother.

“Besides losing my daughter, I lost my brother in this accident,” Ruth defended himself. “When I saw myself without my grandson, I came back to this mourning.”

According to her, the relationship with Murilo “has always been respectful” and both he and his family participated in celebrations and festive dates in her house.

“I always wanted him [Léo] Live with the family there. He loves the father. We lived in respect, “said Ruth.

In the decision that established the provisional guard for Murilo, the judge cites parental alienation and monopoly of parenting by Ruth.

The lawyers heard by Fantástico also mentioned a bank account of Leo, who is the only heir to Marília Mendonça. The singer was already separated from Murilo when she died.

Both Ruth and Murilo had access to this bank account, which was used for expenses with food, health and clothing of the child. It was not clear, however, if there was any financial disagreement between her and the former genro.
