The exit door was seen today at noon by father Antonios and elder Stamatia Georgantis from the headquarters of the “Kivotos tou Kosmos” in Colonos, shortly before the deadline given by the prosecutor regarding the abandonment of the structure by both of them expired.
Annoyed by seeing the TV crews outside the structure where their house is also housed on the 4th floor, the elder is heard saying “Hey, get out of here” to the cameras.
At the same time, in the judicial part of the case, the developments are rapid as the prosecutor Ioannis Sevis gave an order to the financial police to carry out a general check for four felonies.
The offenses which the financial police are asked to investigate for Father Antonio, the elder and nine persons, they are those of infidelity, tax evasion, embezzlement and finally money laundering.
All kinds of grants and funding that have entered the organization’s coffers will come under the microscope of the economic police, while with regard to the tax audit for all those involved, the prosecutor’s order requests that it be done over a period of five years.
It is recalled that the accounts of the elder and the founder of the organization have been confiscated, while the control of their whereabouts is expected to be completed within the next few days.
