To continue with our “little faith”, today’s recipe is pulled pork, a typical American barbecue dish, made with pulled pork and a cabbage-based salad, served on brioche bread.
American barbecue consists of the low and slow technique, which means low and slow.

INGREDIENTS
1 piece of sirloin cup (+- 2kg)
300 ml apple juice
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of salt
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Black pepper to taste
Aluminum paper
½ cup mayonnaise
6 breads (can be baguette, brioche or French bread)
PREPARATION
Cut the sirloin cup into 3 cm cubes, season with salt, olive oil and black pepper and place in a baking dish to brown for 30 minutes in the oven at 220°C.🇧🇷Ç.
After 30 minutes, blend the apple juice, onion and garlic in a blender and place in the same baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and return to the oven for another 3 hours at 180🇧🇷C to the point of fraying.

Pickled Cabbage and Pepper
INGREDIENTS
1 red cabbage
1 red onion
1 red pepper
300ml white wine vinegar
½ cup demerara sugar
1 tablespoon of salt
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the cabbage, seedless bell pepper and onion.
Heat the vinegar with the sugar and salt until dissolved, and cover the vegetables with this liquid. Store in the refrigerator until serving time.
To assemble the snack, cut the bread in half, spread mayonnaise, place the shredded pork and pickled cabbage on top.
