The dog TV will arrive in Europe from next Monday, with the launch of the American network DogTV in Great Britain.
It is a subscription channel that has been operating in the US since 2012 and is aimed at dogs, their owners, and even dog lovers, offering 24-hour broadcasts both for the eyes of our four-legged friends and for ourselves.
While many TV stations have zoophilic shows, this particular TV station has been designed based on recommendations from scientists and experts to man’s best friend to be watched mainly by dogs.
The content of the shows is also educational, based on more than 60 scientific researches, according to its creators, and aims both to acquaint the dogs with emotions generated by the absence of their masters or loneliness, as well as to entertain them with pleasant music and pictures.
It is considered an ideal company for dogs that stay at home alone when their owners are away. Among the programs, however, there are shows that are addressed only to humans, such as recipes for dog nutrition.
From a technical point of view, the channel has adapted its image to the way the dogs perceive the colors, while it avoids any loud or annoying sound, so in no case is it going to broadcast folk songs of dubious quality.
