This was emphasized by the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Nikos Hardalias, concluding a four-day visit to unspoiled islands and micro-islands of the Aegean, from the “Plakas” outpost, in Limnos.

As announced, yesterday Tuesday December 20, the Deputy Minister was in Lesvos, Lemnos and Samothraki, where he visited the headquarters of the Tactical Command of the 41st Infantry Regiment in Samothraki, the “Mithymna” surveillance outposts in Lesvos and “Plakas” in Lemnos.

Also, the high-speed guided missile patrol boat “Mykonios”, which is on a mission in the wider maritime area of ​​the Northern Aegean, was visited.

He also met and exchanged greetings with the pilots and technicians of the Readiness levels of F-16 fighter jets of the 347 Squadron and Super Puma helicopters, at the headquarters of the 130th Combat Command in Lemnos.

Gen. Eleftherio Duroudou as well as the local commanders of the Security Forces Services.

During the visits to Lesvos and Lemnos, the N. Hardalia was accompanied by the commander of the Supreme Military Command of the Interior and Islands, Lt. Gen. Dimitrios Houpis, while in Samothraki, the commander of the 4th Army Corps, Lt. Gen. Ioannis Tsioplos.
