She founded Sophisticated Spreads and specializes in sets, posting her creations and tips on her Instagram account.

“My tips for a successful set clearly work best with a bold color palette, so make sure your colors work together and don’t clash,” says Los Angeles-based Rener, speaking to My Modern Met.

“Make sure you have a variety of cheeses, such as soft cheeses (ie Brie) and medium-textured cheeses (like Gouda) and try to highlight seasonal produce. I also like to add edible flowers because I think that adds a very charming touch.”
