For another year, bwin stands by those in need, with acts of love and its purpose is to return to society the trust it receives.

The journey began in 2018 and bwin’s acts of love reflect the efforts for a society that cares and cares for the less fortunate. The leading betting brand, within four years, managed to carry out dozens of initiatives of social interest by “plowing” the whole of Greece with multifaceted actions.

Visit to the Athens Nursing Home
bwin, for yet another year, carried out a symbolic act of love towards the elderly of the Athens Nursing Home. The active team of the award-winning brand tried to make these days happier, warmer for elderly and lonely people in Attica. Christmas, above all, means love, solidarity, selfless giving. For these reasons, representatives of the leading betting brand stood by to offer holiday baskets filled with essentials and traditional Christmas products.

Overcame the threshold of one ton!
bwin managed to fulfill yet another big goal. The employees of the award-winning brand collected and delivered for the third year to the Association “Together for the Child” more than a ton of long-lasting food, cleaning products and personal hygiene items for children and families who have been affected financially.

The bar as high as it seemed was overcome, with the offices overflowing with products and the human resources smiling, fully understanding the value of the offer and the significance of the achievement for so many of our fellow men. A warm energy that the bwin people will remember forever.

Olympiacos and Peristeri bwin next to the kids!
The Christmas initiatives of the international brand and the “Together for the Child” Union continued throughout December. The acts of love were partnered this time by KAE Olympiacos, of which bwin is a Major Sponsor. The result was what all sides expected. The representatives of bwin and Thomas Walkup, Alec Peters, Joel Boloboi, Michalis Luntzis and George Papas, from the “red and white” side, were at the “JOY” Center for Special Persons, in order to make Christmas more special. They dressed up as Santa Claus, handed out gifts to children with severe mental and physical disabilities, receiving their smiles and hugs.

In particular, Marcus Denmon, Dimitris Agravanis, Sylvain Francisco, Nikos Persidis, Alexa Radanov, together with the active bwin team, visited the Speech Therapy Center “Gifted Children” in Peristeri, where they distributed gifts and took photos with the little friends.

He proved it with the journey of love throughout the territory, from the unspoiled Didymoteicho, to the beautiful Samothraki, to Kiato and Sapes Rhodope, where by reconstructing seven pitches he gave the young people the opportunity to compete safely and dream of a better future.

bwin was a decisive supporter of the construction of the “Ariadni” Supported Living Shelter, embraced from the first moment the project of the Society for the Protection of Spastics/Open Door and stood by the people of the Association throughout the creation of the large project for housing people with cerebral palsy.

At the same time, it immediately responded to the request of the “Together for the Child” Union, which has been its strategic partner for the last five years, for help and support in the creation of the “Irina” hospitality hostel.
Every social action, awarded or not, results in the smiles of our fellow human beings and the support of social groups that really need it. After all, this is the biggest award for a brand that increasingly associates its name with the concept of social contribution.
