On Friday morning (12/23), police forces carried out a surprise check at the “CRETE I” detention center in Agia Chania.
More specifically, according to flashnews.gr, police forces from Athens, Chania and Heraklion (EKAM), present of course and in Isagelleos, made a surprise “visit” to Agyia prisons, where during the control process narcotics were found in a prisoner’s cell.
also sharp objects were found in two other cells, as well as mobile phones.
A case was filed against the three prisoners.
The information states that the targets of the investigations were an Albanian or Albanian prisoners who are considered to be connected to the Albanian mafia and in the context of the investigations into the case of the murder in New Smyrna
The surprise police check was organized by the Directorate of Security of Attica, Sub-Directorate of Security of Chania and EKAM of Crete.
