For today, Christmas Eve, consumers will have the opportunity to shop from 9am to 6pm in shops, and until 8pm in supermarkets

With the hours winding down for the Christmas holiday, the market is moving at a festive pace, as the festive opening hours of the shops have already been put into effect since Sunday 12/18.

For today, Christmas Eve, consumers will have the opportunity to make their purchases from 09:00 in the morning to 18:00 in the commercial stores, and until 20:00 in the evening in the supermarkets, while the stores on Christmas Day but also on the 26th.

From 09:00 to 21:00 the shops will reopen on Tuesday.

In detail, the opening hours of commercial stores proposed by the Athens Chamber of Commerce for the festive season of Christmas 2022 are as follows:

Commercial stores, during the holidays, will remain open on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., emphasizes the Business and Retail Association of Greece (SELPE).

Also, Saturdays will be open from 09:00 to 20:00.

It is noted that, as underlined in the relevant announcement, the member companies of SELPE have taken all the necessary measures to comply with the health rules.
