The spontaneous process of arresting an employer who did not pay the Christmas gift to his employee did not proceed, as at the time of the complaint there was no police force available to carry it out.
The incident took place in Rhodes, where, as reported by “Rodiaki”, there are more employee complaints about non-payment of Christmas gifts by their employers than ever before.
According to the data collected by the newspaper, there were 14 complaints from employees who, until the final date of payment, i.e. December 21, did not see the Christmas gift in their account in accordance with the labor law.
In any case, the escalation of the phenomenon this year raises reasonable questions as these are rather serious cases that we did not have in previous years and in fact they occur in a year in which almost all business sectors were favored due to the good tourist season.
