Incredible Turkish provocation by Turkish media, who, on the occasion of the visit of Constantinos Floros to Greek islands, report that the Greek AGEETHA also visited Pserimos, which they describe as occupied!

At the same time, as the SKAI correspondent Manolis Kostidis reports from Istanbul, they also characterize Gavdos as an island that is under dispute, while emphasizing that Mr. Floros visited the islands that they themselves characterize as under occupation or under dispute.

Concern about armament programs

At the same time, the fact that Greece continues to arm its Defense, with the Turkish media making extensive reference to the fact that Greece is speeding up its armament programs, is causing concern to the Turks.

The reports, as transmitted by Manolis Kostidis, analyze exactly what Greece is acquiring, from F-16s, corvettes, Rafale, Belharra, to anti-missile systems, where they will be installed and even how much they will cost.

As the Turkish reports state: “Over the last two years, Greece has accelerated its armaments programs. And in 2023 it will continue its equipment programs. Among the weapons systems that the government of Athens will buy are missile systems that will be installed in Evros and the islands.

Among the equipment programs of Athens is the acquisition of 4 new corvettes. Greece is already considering the proposals of France and Italy and the cost of the program is expected to exceed 1.5 billion euros. Another armament program of Athens is the acquisition of the Spike-NLOS missile systems which it will acquire from Israel. The agreement will be signed in 202# and Greece will acquire 34 systems! 7 of them will be placed on the islands which must be demilitarized and the rest on the Greek-Turkish border at Evros”.

At the same time, Erdogan announced yesterday that he is abolishing retirement age limits, a decision that will allow about 2.5 million workers to retire immediately.

“With today’s arrangement that we are announcing today, 2.25 million of our citizens will acquire the right to retire. No age limit will be applied for the use of the right to retire,” said Erdogan at a press conference, who sees his rates falling and is looking for a way to raise them, even going so far as to sing on camera to become more likeable.
