Measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus come into force today, tightening the framework for the unvaccinated.
According to the Government Gazette, published late last night in the Government Gazette, the emergency measures for the protection of public health provide for the entry into public services, banks and shops with the demonstration of a negative rapid test or PCR for the unvaccinated.
Analytically:
– Minors: For children and adolescents up to 17 years old, access to mixed & mixed areas will be done with a negative self test
– Unvaccinated workers: With negative Rapid test or PCR access to public & private sector
– Unvaccinated consumers: With negative Rapid test or PCR, in-store purchases
– Entry into public services & banks: With negative Rapid test or PCR
It will be mandatory to show a molecular or rapid test to enter:
– shopping malls and shops
– hairdressers
– banks
– mixed entertainment areas (eg: the outside of a cafe)
For those who do not want to be tested, as revealed yesterday by the Minister of Development, Adonis Georgiadis, they will be able to make their purchases by click away.
There will be no need for a pcr (molecular) or rapid test to enter food stores (supermarkets), pharmacies, religious places, for which, however, there is a strong recommendation from the Holy Synod for the faithful to undergo laboratory tests.
Two tests (rapid or molecular) per week will be required to be done at their own expense by employees in the public sector, private sector and churches.
Meanwhile, a barrage of checks begins today, for which 8,000 police officers and 400 officials of the National Transparency Authority are recruited. It is noted that for the first violation of a store, a fine of 5,000 euros and suspension of operation is provided.
