No part of the country seems to have been spared from the ongoing wave of bad weather.
According to the updated EMY bulletin, heavy rains, storms, hail and gale-force winds are forecast until midday on Wednesday.
At Larissa, the heavy rain caused a tree to fall on a car. Around 11am the tree was uprooted from its base, causing it to fall onto a parked car, which luckily was unoccupied.

In Heraklion, a 70-year-old man was injured by a falling tree, on a busy city street, at around 11 in the morning. According to the deputy mayor of Civil Protection Marino Pattako, the tree fell due to the strong winds.
The large tree was uprooted, but fortunately the walls stopped the force with which it fell to the pavement. The elderly man suffered a slight head injury, while the EKAV forces provided him with first aid.
