“Our ambition is to create the most equitable, useful and transparent hotel rating system ever made”, says the official note. “Unlike other awards in the hospitality industry, there will be no cost of entry, pre-selection or attendance at the ceremony. The result will be a genuine list of the world’s most memorable hotel experiences, all packaged for travel lovers to explore” , complete.
In addition to listing the 50 best restaurants in the world for 20 years, 50 Best also publishes the top 50 bars around the world.
In the last edition of The World’s 50 Best of restaurants, in July 2022, the Brazilian restaurant A Casa do Porco ranked seventh. The winner was the Danish Geranium. By the way, the Danish Noma, first place in the award five times, shook the structures of haute cuisine by announcing that it will interrupt the regular service in 2024.
In November, the prestigious ranking released the 50 best bars in the world. The winner was the Spanish Paradiso, located in Barcelona.
According to the organization, the voting for the top 50 hotels should apply methods similar to those already used in the other two rankings. There will be 580 voters, mixing people from the hotel sector, travel journalists, educators, hospitality professionals and luxury travelers.
