GEETHA: The undermining of Constantinos Floros is motivated and serves other interests

“The alleged claims are absolutely false, slanderous, unproven and beyond all reality” the announcement emphasizes

“The attempted undermining of the moral prestige and integrity of the head of the Greek Orthodox Church at a particularly critical moment for the country is clearly motivated and serves other interests.” This is emphasized, among other things, in a statement by the General Staff of the National Defense on the occasion of a front-page publication of the Documento newspaper about the head of the GETHA K. Floros, entitled: “The humiliating report of the EYP. It shows him buying a house with 600,000 euros of black money.”

“Because the mudslinging, unprecedented in Greek political history, extends”, the statement added, “to artificially constructed narratives about the alleged property of himself or members of his family, the answer is clear: the financial situation of the Head of GEETHA is described in detail – as predicted – in “Pothen Esches” which have been filed in “E9″ and are at the disposal of the competent authorities. The same is the case with the statements of his family members.”

“The alleged claims are completely false, slanderous, unproven and beyond all reality,” the announcement continues.

“They are not going to alter the relationship of trust with the political leadership and with KYSEA” the announcement states.

The GEETHA leader “reserves all his legal rights and continues to carry out the tasks assigned to him by his country, faithful to his oath, the Constitution and the laws of the state” the announcement concludes.
