The eldest son of the late former King Constantine, Pavlos, today welcomed the high-ranking blue-blooded guests on the steps of the Metropolis shortly before his father’s funeral.
According to protocol, the last of the crowned people to arrive at the Metropolis was King Felipe of Spain – nephew of the deceased – with his wife, Letizia.
In a gracious gesture, Pavlos greeted the queen with a handshake.
A little earlier, the royal princess Anna of Britain had arrived – sister of Charles and second cousin of the late former king, with close relations – whom Paul welcomed warmly, with a hug.
