Four dogs and eight cats dead are the so far account of the murderous act, with the Philanthropic Association for the Protection and Care of Stray Animals of the Municipality of Pinios, managing to rescue at least two dogs that had swallowed the poison.

Investigations are being carried out by the local Police to identify the perpetrator.
