They took the tractors to the streets, as part of the decisions of the meeting held by the Panhellenic Committee of Blocks
The participation of the farmers of the area of Tyrnavos, today Sunday, was massive in the protest in the center of the city, where they gathered with their tractors, taking part in a large rally organized by the Agricultural Association of Tyrnavos and EOASNL giving the slogan.
The Agricultural Associations of the Municipality of Tyrnavos and the E.O.A.S.N.L. they took the tractors to the streets, as part of the decisions of the meeting held by the Panhellenic Committee of Blocks, claiming:
-Satisfactory amounts that will cover the replenishment of lost income for all vertical peach-nectarine varieties, table and wine grapes, pears, cherries, almonds.
-Tax-free agricultural oil, as given every year to shipowners, clinicians, hoteliers.
-Substantial subsidy on agricultural fertilizers-medicines and animal feed.
-Ceiling on the price of Kilowatts at 0.7 minutes in rural electricity.
-Abolition of the green energy fine, but also of the Energy Exchange.
-Compensation to the earthquake victims of Damasi and to all earthquake victims for 100% of the damages in first and second residences, in warehouses, shops, from the state budget, without the conditions that make impossible any repair – reconstruction by the owners. The same for damage to agricultural and livestock units.
– To carry out the necessary undergrounding and improvement works at the TOEB MATI TYRNAVOU in Ampelonas.
