With the all-night services and especially participating in the Divine Liturgy, we are called to become the cave where “the child was born, secretly the way”. Because we all have a cave-like heart after our baptism, where God is pleased to dwell and flood with His presence. My dear Christians, the Lord Jesus Christ ascended and was born in a humble cave in Bethlehem. Let us become like the shepherds and magicians who traveled from afar to meet him, because he came down from heaven to become man and to show us the way to a beautiful life on earth and the eternal life of the kingdom of heaven.
Let us chant: “Christ is Born! Glorified!” and let us welcome him to be born in our hearts and souls, because Emmanuel means “God with us”. By applying his teaching, we will taste this inner transformation in our lives and this will be the greatest Christmas present.
